- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Manage client files
- Trial Preparation for Criminal law firms
- Assist with all phases of criminal cases state and federal
- Record and store client information
- manage efilings in state and federal courts
- Organize case files electronically and maintain detailed case logs
- Previous experience as a paralegal/legal assistant or other legal field ( 5 year minimum)
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Mandatory ability to multi task in a highly productive fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Bi-lingual a plus but not mandatory
- Proficient in monitoring and calendaring hearings docket entries and other required court deadlines
- Exceptional client management skills on phone, in person and via emails
- Proficient in Case management software
- Detailed oriented and professional attitude
- Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of criminal cases State & Federal
- Federal criminal law paralegal with a minimum of 5 years experience a PLUS but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Type minimum of 65 wpm
- Self Starter
- Ability to work long hours and weekends- Required
