Job Summary
A Kolter Hospitality Sales Manager works with management throughout the hotel and the Company delivering service excellence to guests by listening to their needs analyzing information creating tailored proposals in a pleasant professional manner negotiating closing sales while exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Solicit negotiate confirm new repeat business through initiative-taking direct sales calls appointments trade shows site visits marketing maximize revenues meet/exceed individual team hotel budgeted revenue goals.
- Fully qualify business potential ensuring pricing aligns with budgeted revenue goals.
- Collaborate Director Sales Marketing develop quarterly annual action plans assigned market segments achieve goals continually stay top market trends news reading CoStar Business Journals industry periodicals engaging networking events professionally represent hotel participating client industry functions demonstrate ability work maximum efficiency accuracy diligence research competing hotels prospects network surface business conduct shops assess pricing acumen include selling techniques responsiveness respond leads within assigned market segment hours during business week lead communication efforts contracts proposals site inspections pre-cons BEOs Group Resumes maintaining positive communication departments including Revenue Management Reservations Rooms F&B outlets meet clients arrival departure ensure details contract being delivered timely accurate consistent document track all sales activities property system used on property confirm groups meetings payments taken care event ensuring guest checks payments master folios advance deposits submitted accounting follow clients after each event satisfaction secure future business demonstrates leadership skills motivate coach hotel team always selling report work time well-groomed professional attire representing hotel brand company positive manner at times follow safety procedures working perform any other job-related duties assigned Director Sales Marketing
