Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance - Charlottesville, United States - Gridiron IT Solutions

Seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer that is willing to travel to Charlottesville, VA 2-4 per month. TS (SCI eligible) clearance is required.


Requirements include:
10 years of experience implementing DoD or IC information management systems
5 years of experience supporting enterprise cloud initiatives
Software development experience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, that may include Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML
Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as terraform, Vault/Secrets Manager, and with Platform as a Service technologies including Kubernetes
3 years of experience with commercial cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, containers, serverless architecture, micro-services, Web services, and RESTful API design
Experience with Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS and load balancing
Active TS clearance (SCI Eligible)
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ Certification, within 60 days of start date

Remote/Onsite:

Work can be supported in a hybrid model with remote delivery and onsite for classified cloud environment access as needed.

SCIF locations include Charlottesville, VA where the client is located, and at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

We welcome candidates who could support either of these locations and who would be willing to travel a few times a month to Charlottesville for in person meetings.
