    Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an excellent opportunity for a Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Alexandria, Virginia. This assignment features a weekly blended rate of $2,265, based on three 12‑hour night shifts per week.

    This role is ideal for a clinically strong therapist who thrives in acute‑care environments and is confident with ventilator management, advanced airway support, and comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments.

    Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

    Deliver high‑quality respiratory care across ICU, ED, step‑down, and med‑surg units
    Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and advanced airway equipment
    Perform respiratory assessments, ABG sampling/analysis, and inhalation therapies
    Administer bronchodilators, mucolytics, and other respiratory medications
    Collaborate closely with physicians, ICU nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
    Respond to rapid responses and code situations with calm, decisive action
    Maintain precise documentation and uphold infection‑control and safety standards
    Educate patients and families on therapies, devices, and discharge instructions as needed

    Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

    Active RRT credential (NBRC); CRT considered with strong acute‑care experience (per facility)
    Virginia licensure or eligibility
    Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    2+ years' recent acute‑care respiratory therapy experience preferred
