    Responsibilities
    Peraton requires Storage Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.

    Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.

    The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain NetworkOperations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and


    common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.

    The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


    • Designs the concepts and processes, related to resource allocation management
    • Evaluates the input and output of systems, as well as their overall architecture, to recommend improvements.
    • Designs disaster recovery plans and enforces backup and archive procedures.
    • Designs and implements solutions for data storage and maintenance.
    • Upgrades software, applying patches, and ensures the physical security of data.
    • Creates specific reports and metrics for performance and data usage using office automation applications.
    • Supporting team responses to incidents, reconfigurations, installations, or other physical changes.
    • Analyzes systems performance data from tools such as OS and application logs, Splunk and RavenVision.
    • Develops and maintains system documentation and schematic diagrams (using tools such as Microsoft Word and Visio).
    • Assists in Developing solutions to update device firmware, drivers, and utility applications and performing testing of changes.
    • Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.
    Qualifications
    Required qualifications

    BS and 5-7 years experience, or MS and 3-5 years experience, or PhD and 0-2 years experience, OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS

    Experience in an engineering or storage capacity position

    Experience in AWS, Azure, or Google cloud environments related to storage as in S3 for AWS.

    Experience as a Storage Systems Administrator relating to large enterprise engagements with Storage tools and vendors such as Nutanix, NetApp, EMC, HPE, Pure, Hitachi or other

    Certification(s): DoD M IAT II

    Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
