QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Minimum Requirements: Earned Master's Degree in Education or a related field

Experience and Training

Preference will be given to candidates with practitioner and higher education teaching experience

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

Leadership skills and practitioner-based education experiences

Effective pedagogical practices

Current educational standards and expectations in the course content

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Face-to-face instruction per scheduled course requirements or scheduled online instruction for residency courses

Teaching towards student mastery of course objectives

Maintaining high expectations for all students

ACCOUNTABILITY:

This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Educator Preparation
