JOB DESCRIPTION
Performs basic and intermediate computed tomography (CT) procedures under the direction of the Radiologist.
Must be able to work independently in CT, general x-ray and in the OR.
This position requires technologist to float between CT & X-ray depending on where the greater need is while helping the other deparment if slower volumes.
May be required to move into third shift to cover any possible PTO needs that may arise during your contract.

Beds: 1 CT scanner

Will transfer high acuity patients to Aurora St. Luke s Medical Center in Milwaukee
Patient Types:
Inpatient, Outpatient, ED, OR (preferred)
generalized scans, cardiac, angiograms, CTA
No IR procedures, no biopsies
Patient Ratios:
1:1
Required Certifications:
BLS
ARRT in CT
WI license (in hand)
Skills required
Strong IV skills (preferred), knowledgeable in different CT examines, patient transport experience (preferred), stroke, contrast scans
Will usually have 2 CT Techs
CT cases are broken up in 15 min blocks
Xray skills required
Support on the Unit:
Department Supervisor

Can float to Burlington location (20 minutes away) but unlikely
Orientation:
1-3 days based on comfort
Scheduling:
Floating between CT and X Ray
Weekend rotation:
Yes, every 3rd or 4th weekend
8 week scheduling period, will receive 1-2 weeks prior
On-Call:
Yes, 1 week every 8 weeks during your assignment
Monday - Friday Saturday & Sunday
