    Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care.

    The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children.

    KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole.


    The group's specialty areas include:

    Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties.

    Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology.


    The Resource Team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend to their normal positions.

    The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to support various areas in the hospital or clinic.

    You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Assistant.

    In this role you would perform routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    High School Graduate or equivalent. Current American Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Basic medical terminology. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician's office, or related experience. Experience with Epic.
