Audubon is currently seeking a Safety/HSE Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Safety/HSE Specialist serves as the technical expert in developing, implementing, assessing and maintaining appropriate risk management and HSE policies for the Client. Responsibilities include PHA facilitation, creation and oversight of safety and risk management policies and procedures, and management system consulting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Areas of Responsibility will include:

• Facilitation of Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
• Interaction with wide variety of Clients.
• Risk and hazards mitigation consulting.
• Operational assurance consulting.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:

• B.S. or higher in Chemical, Safety or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experienced PHA facilitator.
• Plant or facilities engineering experience.
• Formal training in safety analysis.
• Preferred - somebody with both operational and engineering experience.
• Ability to clearly and effectively facilitate technical meetings.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Technical writing skills.
• Basic understanding of process flow.
• Ability to understand and follow P IDs and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
