Maintenance CoordinatorBrief Description
The Maintenance Coordinator plans, directs, coordinates and controls all stores maintenance to ensure proper safety, sanitation and mechanical functions for the stores.
The Maintenance Coordinator work schedule includes on-call responsibilities to address emergency stores issues as well as planner stores maintenance and may include evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all maintenance work to properly maintain Ideal Market stores and other entities such as KBM, Campo Rico, La Chula, Orleans Ave, Cricket, etc.
Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
Plan, organize, direct, and control the daily operations of the department and its employees.
Respond promptly to maintenance and repair needs. May work with vendors for maintenance and repair when outsourcing is necessary.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors, employees, and others.
Estimate costs, including labor, materials, and contracted services, for each work order.
Order necessary construction and maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies under Management's direction and ensure the best price is obtained.
Maintain an updated inventory of tools, equipment, utensils, and any departmental materials.
Track all maintenance issues, store records, and provide weekly reports to Management detailing issues, resolutions, and status of pending requests.
Develop and maintain files to track and ensure all warranties are up to date.Responsible for maintaining store equipment and keeping a repair contact directory for easy reference.
Review service invoices, completed work, etc., to ensure accurate payments at the best price.
Prepare preventive maintenance plans aligned with the company's maintenance objectives.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Maintenance Planner Top Skills & Proficiencies
1'2 years of experience in a similar or related field.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
