    The School of Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time/hourly Adjunct Assistant Professor, Health Policy & Management


    The successful candidate will:

    • Teach introduction to Health Policy and Management and Health Services Research Design and Methods.
    • Use model methods of teaching including online engagement, case studies, team projects, and discussion boards.
    • Manage and oversee learning environment, instructional activities, course materials, and online grading system.
    • Provide student advisement, review program/course outcomes criteria with students; provide guidance and support student progress.
    • Evaluate students through class participation, assignments and exams.

    Required Qualifications:

    • DrPH or PhD in Public Health or a related field.
    • Graduate level teaching experience in an institution of higher learning.
    • Experience using online learning management systems.

    Commensurate with experience and qualifications
