Requirements:
Core Accountabilities
Daily supervision of processes and procedures for inventory management and replenishment of received product to shelves
Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to create, implement and manage plans for ongoing product placement, movement, and zoning
Nurture team engagement and high performance; provide input to Warehouse Manager regarding associate training, development, and performance reviews
Strive for continuous improvement, especially in efficiency and accuracy of work performed
Maintain the highest safety standards for self and team
Qualifications
At least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center/warehouse, but will consider other supervisory or team-lead experience in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to being a strong team member while directly supervising 5-10 associates
Strong communications skills with a get-it-done attitude; proven ability to foster teamwork, positivity, and flexibility
A strong desire to provide high levels of customer service
Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing work environment
Consistent and reliable attendance. Core hours are likely to be 1:30-10:00pm Monday – Friday. Because this is a new role and shift, there may be some flexibility on start and end times. Occasional Saturday work or hours outside of core hours may be required based on business needs
Experience with Excel preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical/Other Requirements
Lifting of up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Forklift experience strongly preferred
Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking, and sitting.
Basic computer proficiency; ability to utilize telephone and scanners
