    Job Description:

    The Business Account Manager is responsible for participating in the development and building of improved methodologies and practices which are consistent with current enterprise goals and contract performance assurance of all Administrative Services Agreement deliverables within the Government Business Division (GBD) health plan markets.

    Location: This position will work a hybrid model (1-2 days in the office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

    How you will make an impact:
    • Provides direct support to one or more Account Manager Sr. in execution of GBD strategies and priorities.
    • Provides meeting facilitation, project research and/or business analysis functions as required to assist in execution of projects and programs.
    • Researches complex issues as assigned by leadership and develops recommendations based on completed research.
    • Leads assigned small teams/workgroups on designing and implementing solutions which align with strategic objectives and priorities.
    • Leverages corporate initiatives and best practices from other markets to execute on assignments.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, including minimum of 3 years indirect staff management, account management, or project management in a large business environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
    Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
    • Employs strong execution skills to deliver on assigned duties, with demonstrated competence in data assimilation, analysis and effective change management strongly preferred.
