Job Summary
The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Facilitate live and forecasted demand into production plans to achieve desired service levels in support of TS Tech's business objectives at efficient costs.
Manage tasks and/or projects, including developing and monitoring scopes, schedules, and budgetsMaintain a high level of quality and safety throughout the department.
Assist Associates when needed and ensure daily tasks are being performed efficiently.
Operate and trouble shoot MRP/ERP system.
Monitor parts inventory, troubleshoot as needed.
Ensure training records are up to date and accurate.
Closely monitor the activities of all associates against performance standards and procedures.
Monitor and control overtime to meet targets.
Ensure training, development and motivation are effective in all assigned personnel.
Direct subordinates to ensure performance is consistent with established policies and procedures.
Coach and counsel associates in accordance with policies and procedures when necessary.
Monitor logistics to multiple Customers.
Communicate with multiple customers on delivery, logistical, ordering and other needs.
Investigate and determine root cause on any issues delivery reports.
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration or similar subject area with exposure to supply chain management through experience and/or course work
Over 3 years related experience in manufacturing company, similar industry is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft office
3 Years MRP/ERP Experience (Experience utilizing ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules. (QAD experience a plus.)
Good oral and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Sitting at workstation approximately 80 percent of work time
Standing and walking approximately 20 percent of work time
Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice
Typical office environment with shelves overhead and above work surfaces
Manufacturing environment with multiple machinery and moving parts
