    Location: Dam Neck, VA

    SUMMARY: WR has a potential opportunity for a Software Engineer, Basic to formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

    Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

    Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.

    Analyze, define, and document requirements for:

    o Data

    o Workflow

    o Logical processes

    o Hardware

    o Operating system environment

    o Interfaces with other systems

    o Internal and external checks

    o Controls

    o Outputs

    Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.

    Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

    Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer/software engineering, computer science, math, physics, or related scientific discipline.

    Three (3)+ years of professional experience in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Python, RHL, and/or other object oriented languages.

    Demonstrate software development using one or more of these languages under:

    o Unix

    o Windows

    o Linux, and/or MS-DOS operating systems.
