- Obtain necessary authorizations for medical records as well as the medical records.
- Assemble and send medical records packages to insurance companies.
- Help maintain positive client relations through strong communication and professional conduct and frequent follow-ups to get an assessment of treatment status.
- Discuss new cases with prospective clients over the phone and complete detailed intake for all new cases.
- Answer phone calls, take messages and transfer calls accordingly.
- Assist with data entry and any additional day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the attorneys and perform additional duties as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining case information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Associate's degree required but Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Previous administrative experience is preferred but not required. Legal experience is a plus
