    Senspex in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is seeking to hire an Electronics Design Engineer for our Engineering DepartmentThe Electronics Design Engineer is responsible for providing electronic engineering and design support for video vision systems.

    These systems range from thermal imaging video and electro-mechanical motion mechanisms to video/graphics processing and environmental sensing devices.

    This member of the engineering team contributes by performing detailed circuit design, documentation, and testing of electronic/electro-mechanical components, circuit boards, equipment, and subsystems.

    What you'll get to do as an Electronics Design Engineer at Senspex:
    Design cutting-edge products and systems to interface sensors, users, machines, hardware, and software.

    Conduct circuit design/analysis utilizing computer assisted engineering design software and equipment to create electricalDesign electronic circuits, subsystems, products or systems for commercial, military and scientific applications.

    Draft detail and assembly drawings of design components, schematics, and printed circuit board layouts using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques and devices.

    Collaborate with engineers/customers/vendors to discuss existing/potential electronics engineering projects or products.

    Incorporate Senspex thermal imaging and electro-optical devices into custom systems by researching and analyzing data, such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design orProvide the business development team with suggestions on innovative/advantageous electrical engineering approaches within company's scope of product/services.


    The qualifications we require:


    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical or optical) or other related technical field plus 4 years of directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

    Knowledge of circuit board design, chips, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications andAbility to read and create detailed engineering drawings andExperience in any of the following:

    infrared/electro optical sensors, image processing, sensor fusion, sensor design and analysis, sensor testing and data analysis, and integration on platforms.

    Minimum 4 years of experience in electricalSee full job description for preferred qualifications.

    This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance.
