Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team at a care facility in Stamford, TX.
Responsibilities IncludeEvaluating residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits
Helping residents achieve goals related to cognition and swallowing
Providing education to residents and caregivers
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Providing AAC systems for severe communication disorders
Training clients, families, and staff, and coordinating diagnostic procedures
Maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
Responding to family concerns and collaborating with care staff
Requirements
Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
Current ASHA certification
Good standing with regulatory agencies
