    The Program Manager is responsible for the overall administrative and clinical operation of the program, including all activities relative to the day-to-day management of the home ( e.g., development, implementation, and review of Individual Service Plans (ISP), clinical programs, and other treatment plans); management of petty cash system and consumer funds; and ensuring compliance with DDS licensing standards, CARF standards, OSHA regulations, and Victory Human Services' Quality Assurance standards.

    Maintain daily contact with supervisor and staff (i.e., Residential Counselors, Overnight Counselors and relief staff).

    Make frequent contacts with consumers' families, DDS Service Coordinators, outside agencies (medical providers), day program staff, and senior management at corporate and divisional offices.


    Requirements:

    BA/BS in Human Services or related field and/or one year previous work experience in human service setting preferableTwo additional years of experience, one in a supervisory capacity, which may substitute for the baccalaureateAbility to employ physical restraint techniques and physical intervention as neededDepartment of Public Health certification in medication administration (MAP) is required.

    First Aid and CPR Certifications are requiredMust possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license and meet the company's driver insurance standardsA personal vehicle for travelAn acceptable CORI (criminal record assessment)

    Moderate to exceptional Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and email systemsSupervisory:
    Serve as the immediate supervisor of all Residential Counselors, Overnight Counselors, and relief staff within programInterview and approve all new hiresChair biweekly meetingsConduct monthly 1:1 supervision with each staffPerform annual performance appraisals on all staffImplement progressive disciplinary procedures as neededOperations:Oversee all activities relative to the day-to-day management of the home ( e.g., development, implementation, and review of ISPs, clinical programs, and other treatment plans; coordination of transportation)

    Manage petty cash system and consumer fundsMonitor program budget and consumer incomeEnsure compliance with DDS licensing standards, CARF standards, OSHA regulations, and Victory Human Services enhancement standardsEnsure all staff are current with their certifications (CPR, First Aid and MAP)Staffing:

    Staff scheduling and the procurement of relief coverage to ensure programmatic and safety needs of the consumersOn-call service for own program(s).

    May provide back-up on-call as deemed necessary for other residential programsTraining - Responsible for training and assessing all staff in:Consumer-specific clinical and educational programsMedication packaging, administration, and documentationFire safety and Human RightsManagement of consumer fundsMedical managementOSHA standardsState and federal regulatory standards and proceduresOther operational systems, including all company personnel and DDS Division policies and procedures

    Clinical Educational:

    Ensure compliance with all aspects of ISP processDevelop and implement clinical programsProvide case managementServe as a liaison between the residential and day programs to ensure integration of clinical servicesRegularly review all recording sheet, charts and log entriesMonitor monthly and quarterly progress notes systemPromote a positive relationship with neighbors and local communityPerform other duties as assigned by Program Director or Director of ServicesThis job description is intended only to provide general guidance.
