Schedule
Night shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with every other weekend and holidays as needed. Float required if necessary.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing care for a diverse patient population. The focus will be on observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, and more.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.
- Provide support and education to patients and families regarding care and health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.
- Prior charge nurse experience preferred.
