CUMULUS | Colorado Springs, CO currently features 6 stations in the Colorado Springs area and surrounding counties


Our stations include:
92.9 KKPK-FM, 98.9 KKMG-FM, 95.1 KATC-FM, 98.1 KKFM-FM, 1040 KVOR-AM, 1300 KCSF-AM. The cluster of 6 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis.

The Program Director will be responsible for growing and operating strong brands and must have a strong background and passion for music.

Energy, enthusiasm and experience within the genre is a must.

You will be responsible for all aspects of programming including; music scheduling, managing on-air staff, imaging, station strategy, developing and executing revenue generating sales & programming promotions, website & social media, digital content and have a strong understanding of the core audience of a AC format.

The position also requires a daily air-shift, along with a weekend voice track shift and/or live appearances and live remotes

Key Responsibilities:

Produce a compelling radio show by using creativity, imagination and exercise of independent professional judgment in writing, producing, interviewing, taping or broadcasting on-air contentGreat with phones/interacting with callers, interviewing artists/guests and hosting live eventsConnect with listeners via phones, social, video, web and on-siteDaily social media engagement; website and digital content generationParticipates in station Programming, Promotions, and Sales meetings and eventsAssist in production and imaging of the stationLive Broadcasts and station appearances, whether paid of unpaidCommercial Production; create killer endorsement ads - both on air and online - for mutually agreed upon productsVoice other commercials as assignedHandles emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather disasters/breaking newsEnsures logged commercials, promotions, sweepers and any other programming element essential to the station's operations are airedPerforms additional duties in small stations, such as production, assisting program director or music director, operating radio transmitter or writing advertising copy.

Qualifications :

1-3 years of media experience requested, this could be a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their careerExperience in creating graphics in Createopy or Canva and creating video content on Tiktok or Instagram preferred.
