    Required Travel:

    Key Responsibilities:
    Create/maintain product schematic for Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
    Perform circuit analysis and testing to ensure the design meets requirements.
    Interface with component suppliers to ensure selected components meet specified design.
    Create/maintain ECU Performance Document
    Complete Electrical peer and EMC reviews
    Ensure electrical design is compatible with manufacturing processes.
    Support functional safety work products associated with ISO 26262 part 5.
    Support PCB layout activities, including floorplan and layout reviews.
    Manage component problems and/or supplier issues.
    Document and manage electrical design change requests.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    Experience with hardware design.
    Experience in embedded control system design.
    Experience with microprocessor-based applications.
    Electrical system testing experience.
    Electronics Lab skills using electronic test equipment and modification of electronic hardware.
    Technical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills.
    Familiar with common computer applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, etc.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
    Responsible for EMC design activities to ensure product meets customer and internal EMC requirements.
    Review customer EMC requirements to ensure the BWI test plans and procedure comply with customer requirements.
    Generate BWI EMC test plans and EMC Test summaries.

    Provide EMC design support during all phases of development to ensure ECU electrical design and PCB layout follow best practices for EMC design.

    Conduct development testing to evaluate EMC performance and guide design decisions to best meet product objectives.
    Support EMC validation testing and issue resolution at the test facility.
    Support investigation and resolution for EMC related issues in the field.
