    How you'll make a difference?

    This Intern position will be performing hands-on equipment validation activities, with direct supervision of Equipment Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Equipment Technicians.

    What will your duties and responsibilities be?

    The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.
    • Assist in the execution of equipment validation protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards
    • Conduct tests, gather data, and perform analyses to evaluate equipment performance and reliability
    • Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately and comprehensively
    • Collaborate with validation engineers and other team members to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
    • Participate in meetings to discuss project status, findings, and recommendations for improvement
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Learn and apply industry best practices in equipment validation and quality assurance
    What skills and experience will you need?

    The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

    Education/Certifications:
    • HS Diploma or equivalent required
    • Enrollment in Bachelor's or Master's engineering degree program
    • Junior or Senior level standing, or graduate student
    • 3.0 GPA
    Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:
    • Technical writing skills
    • Basic user capability in Excel, Word, Visio, and MS Project
    What qualifications are preferred?

    The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

    Education/Certifications:
    • Enrollment in Biomedical Engineering degree program or similar field of study
    Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:
    • Prior medical device internship experience is a nice-to-have

    The anticipated base hourly rate for an employee who is located in California this position is $22 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect the pay scale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
