- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Collect and analyze data regarding behaviors and established plans.
- Work directly, on site with individuals receiving services in our Programs (eg. Group Home setting, Day Program setting).
- Teach, coach, promote and reinforce behavior plans.
- Implement strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.
- Document and maintain organized records of participant progress. Prepare notes, reports and other data collection tools under the supervision of the BCBA.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders including direct care staff and supervisors as well as parents, guardians and other support team members.
- Maintain certification and stay up to date with the latest research, developments and trends to best serve the individuals receiving services.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants and staff during all sessions.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification: Must hold a valid RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Adults with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, preferred.
- Valid NJ Driver's license with no more than 5 points.
- The ability to meet the requirements of state and federal background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) is preferred.

Job DescriptionThe Arc, Ocean County Chapter is looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time RBT to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They will provide one-on-one behavior therapy services under the direction of the BCBA.
