Job Description

Envision Education seeks School Counselors for the School Year, starting in August 2024. Reporting to the school Principal, the Counselor will sustain a safe, college-going culture for diverse learners and their families to ensure social-emotional well-being and a successful transition to college and careers.

Locations:

City Arts and Leadership Academy in San Francisco
Impact Academy of Arts and Technology in Hayward.

This opportunity may include a $5,000 CALA supplement, and/or a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for hard-to-fill roles.

Key Responsibilities

Student academic case management.
College application support for 12th graders.
Provide mental health counseling in individual and group formats.
Participates as a member of the school site's Crisis Response Team.
Provide individualized services in a full-inclusion model.
Provide guidance and assistance to students with learning, behavior and/or adjustment challenges.
Acts as a contact/liaison for families with high needs.
Coordinates services with mental health counselors.
Maintain accurate records of all psychological/ counseling/ social services.
Responds to crises in tandem with colleagues and community personnel.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field required
One of the following is required:
- PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in School Counseling
- MFT (if you hold an MFT, you must also hold a PPS)
- LCSW
- LPCC
- LMFCC
- Licensed Educational, School, or Clinical Psychologist
Two years or more of experience in a school setting preferred
Receptiveness to feedback and desire to continuously improve instruction in service of student academic outcomes
Experience working successfully with parents and families, especially African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families
Spanish fluency preferred

Compensation, Pay, and Benefits

Total Compensation Package 1-pager

The annual salary range for this role is: $65,924-$103,700, and is dependent upon years of aligned experience and credentials.

Additional Supplements for:
- Special Education: $5,000
- Second Credential: $500
- Masters Degree: $3,500
- Doctorate: $2,000
- Board Certification: $5,000
- Lead Learning Specialist (SPED): $10,000
Additional Leadership Stipends for:
- Instructional Lead Team: $5,000
- Grade Level Lead Team: $5,000
- Summer Professional Development: $250/day
