    The Assistant Manager supports and assists the Property Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community.

    Responsibilities include:


    Oversee file management and run assigned reportsLead proper customer service and sales techniques and ensure an efficient and courteous response to all resident requestsAbility to manage projects through planning, coordination, and utilizing appropriate communication channels to maintain continued progress to ensure that project completion is on time and budget.

    Collect all monies due and oversee audit evictions, potential skips, and move-outs by walking units to evaluate occupancyFinalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management softwareOversee resident renter's insurance procedureCollect deposits and process future residents' applicationsEnsure the model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspaceMaintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all company and community policies and ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and proceduresMaintain contact with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material"Shop" surrounding or competing properties and conduct outreach marketingReport unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residentsOversee maintenance staff work orders.

    Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.


    Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all timesPerform physical inspections of the property and coordination with the maintenance teamRequirements:7+ years of experience in the property management industryKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and general computer skillsYardi knowledge preferredStrong communication skills both written and verbalOrganized with attention to detailCustomer service experience preferred in a leasing roleWilling and able to work weekends and some holidaysBenefits: Use this link to learn more about benefits available to Eastridge's temporary employees.
