    One of our clients in the Austin area is in search of a mid-level Transportation Drainage Engineer with four years of experience for Austin Team.

    This position supports their highway, bridge, and rail projects across Texas. As part of a collaborative team, you'll utilize your expertise in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities include storm drainage analysis and design, cross drainage hydraulic analysis and design, erosion control, quantity and cost estimates, and preparation of technical reports and construction plans.


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with project engineers on detailed enclosed storm drainage analysis and design for urban and rural transportation projects.
    Perform drainage analysis and design under project requirements and standards set by transportation public agencies such as TxDOT
    Assist in preparing contract drainage drawings, specifications, and estimates.
    Generate project-specific drainage/hydraulic reports and technical memoranda.
    Conduct hydraulic analysis for cross-drainage structures and integrate results into design coordination with other disciplines (roadway and bridge).

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. ABET-accredited school.

    Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain within six months from the hiring date if licensed in another state.

    Four years of experience on mid- to large-scale transportation projects, focusing on drainage design, hydrologic, and hydraulic analyses.
    Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate drainage design phases with other team disciplines.
    Proficiency in Microstation, Geopak Drainage, OpenRoads, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HY-8. and SUDA
    Experience in designing roadway-enclosed storm sewer systems.
    Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for cross-drainage structures.
    Previous involvement in large-scale design-build transportation projects.
