Surgery Shift Timings:
Morning Shift 07:00 - 15:30 Hours Roles & Responsibilities Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team. Helping provide great patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS BLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current Certified Surgical Tech experience.

Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program Active unencumbered RN Michigan state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
