Nursing Team Leader - Physician Practice RN, UHS Summit BuildingUnited Health Services is seeking a Nursing Team Leader - Physician Practice RN to join our BGH Internal Medicine department at UHS Summit Building in Binghamton, NY.
Shift04 per hour, depending on experience.
Potential for up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus, relocation assistance, and continuing education incentives.
The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and through advocacy in the care of individuals and families.
The RN is responsible and accountable for compliance to all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights.
The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.Graduate of an accredited school of registered Nursing.
At a minimum of one (1) years' experience in a health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the Registered Nurse curriculum.
Bachelor's degree in nursingPrevious telephone triage experience.
Previous experience in a walk-in/primary care/specialty care office setting.
Knowledge of Joint Commission, NYS Department of Health, CMS and Article 28 standards.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
Annual Health Assessment required if the RN is working "in person" at any UHS location.
