Description
Job Title: AWS Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Duration: Long term (6-12 months contract with possible extension)
Location: Woodlands, TX
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure utilizing EKS and ELB.
Provide expertise and guidance in architecture, configuration, and optimization of EKS clusters and ELB configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EKS clusters and ELBs into existing systems and applications.
Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and performance optimization within EKS and ELB environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EKS clusters and ELB configurations.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an AWS Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge of EKS and ELB.
Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing EKS clusters in production environments.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including networking, storage, and security.
Expertise in configuring and managing Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) for distributing incoming traffic.
Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
