    Job Description

    Receives and distributes food and dry goods. Responsible for organization, sanitation, and inventory control in part of the Warehouse. Responsible for pick-up and efficient transportation of materials throughout the operations.

    Compensation:

    $20.51/hour (non-exempt)

    This is a Union position with 1 opening.

    Reporting Relationship:

    Reports to: Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor

    Supervises: n/a

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties
    • Responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and driving performance of delivery vehicle.
    • Label food items in the Warehouse by price, company, and date received. Store items in designated areas.
    • Stock items in proper order, rotating stock when necessary.
    • Keep Warehouse in an orderly and sanitary manner.
    • Sweep, dust, and mop floors as needed.
    • Process and fill requisitions for goods, ensuring that units extended pricing is included.
    • Perform inventories as needed.
    • Assist Receiving Clerk as needed.
    • Assist department supervisors as well as purchasing supervisors as required.
    • Perform duties with due regard to safety of self and fellow employees, and with proper care and protection of Company property.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Qualification/Requirements:
    • At least 1 to 2 years of previous warehouse experience, preferred.
    • Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Requires working to the established procedures and maintaining reliable work attendance.
    • Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
    • Able to think and make effective decisions quickly.
    • Ability to create effective working relationships with employees.
    • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure.
    Required Work Cards/Certifications:
    • Valid Hawaii Driver's License and successful review of Motor Vehicle Record
    Physical Requirements:
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
    • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and color vision.
    • The employee is required to operate objects, tools or controls.
