    Description

    Restaurant Associates are enthusiastic team members who assist customers and deliver high-quality products. Workdays can vary, including mid shifts, closing shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The tasks performed may also vary depending on the length of the shift or the store location. Your shifts will be dynamic, enjoyable, and different from the previous one. Common duties involve checking day dots, restocking paper products, cleaning as required, preparing salads or subs, topping pizzas, or operating the window and front registers.

    Requirements:

    • Must be capable of safely performing the essential job functions while meeting productivity benchmarks
    • Capable of standing and/or walking throughout the entire shift
    • Able to consistently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
    • Occasional bending and twisting

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Welcomes and greets customers warmly upon their arrival, whether in the lobby or at the drive-up window
    • Prepares for the shift by completing food prep, stocking, and pre-topping pizzas to ensure readiness for sales
    • Sets up the next shift for success by finishing food prep, stocking prep-tables, and freezer pulls
    • Assists customers while operating the cash register to take orders accurately, manage cash, provide correct change, and reconcile the register before and after the shift with the Manager on Duty
    • Maintains restaurant cleanliness by cleaning and mopping the lobby, restrooms, and kitchen as necessary
    • Folds pizza boxes
    • Effectively communicates with customers, colleagues, and supervisors in-person or via telephone
    • Processes customer orders taken over the phone
    • Enhances the customer experience by suggesting additional items, offering drink refills, providing plates and napkins, and addressing customer queries
    • Adheres to all food safety protocols, including handwashing, reporting illnesses, and upholding cleanliness standards
    • Follows precise food recipes when preparing subs, pizzas, and salads for customers

    Donatos Pizza is a pizza delivery franchise headquartered in Gahanna, Ohio, United States. With close to 200 locations across eleven states, primarily in Ohio, Donatos is also available at various venues, including Ohio Stadium and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
