Currently, the Village at Summerville has a wonderful opportunity for a Restorative Aide in our Therapy Department.
This passionate professional must be warm, respectful, detail orientated, and organized.

This position will be providing care services to residents along with assisting in routine services that support the skilled nursing care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.

This role will report directly to the community Director of Rehabilitation.

This pivotal role will be responsible for:
Assisting in providing direct restorative care services to residents.
Consistently monitoring resident performance and progress effectively.
Communicating resident updates to the Registered Nurse.
Consistently completing all relevant documentation into the medical record.
Identifying restorative care supplies and equipment needs.
Adhering to HIPPA, OSHA, Infection control, and all universal precautions.
Following all protocols and procedures for restorative nursing care.

RequirementsMinimum Education, Experience, and Skills for this exciting opportunity are:

High school diploma or equivalentLicensed in the state of South Carolina as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferredThree years of related experience skilled nursing facility is preferredDegree in Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant is a plusExcellent interpersonal and problem solving skillsAt PCSC, we believe in relationships, service, teamwork, and excellence, and use these values daily as we serve.
