This is an excellent in-house opportunity to be part of a successful real estate company located in Los Angeles area. The selected candidate will be the Legal Departments first-chair trial lawyer, responsible for spearheading the litigation docket. .

The position offers a regular workweek, medical benefits, and no billable hour requirement. This is an exceptional long-term opportunity for a resolute professional.

Key Responsibilities

• First chair trial lawyer, leading a team of professionals.
• Engage in pre-litigation dispute resolution efforts.
• Assist with supervising and mentoring other in-house attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 + years of legal experience, with an insurance defense or eviction prosecution background, including substantial trial experience. Candidates with 10+ first chair jury trials are encouraged to apply.
• Strong work ethic, hands on mentality and ability to produce high quality work product in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, a roll-up-your-sleeves type person.
• High degree of ethics and integrity, with the ability to build trust with key stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment, analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with time management skills and computer literacy with a Microsoft suite of products.
• Candidates with a combination of law firm and in-house experience are encouraged to apply.
• Member in good standing of the California Bar.
• The selected candidate will be a zealous advocate, second to none.

Compensation

The selected candidate will receive a salary between 150k- $300k (DOE)
