About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Laboratory Technician to carry out standard laboratory procedures in a designated department. The role involves analyzing data, assisting in research and development, and upholding high-quality standards in laboratory protocols.

This position is based in Marshfield, WI, focusing on the rare disease sector of our business. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire process from specimen accessioning to DNA extraction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures following standard operating procedures
• Meet productivity targets and turnaround time expectations
• Maintain quality in test processes and results
• Identify issues, notify supervisors, and describe contributing factors
• Stay competent in required laboratory tasks
• Comply with safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements
• Support the company's Quality Management System
• Understand and utilize laboratory equipment and reagents
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Establish effective relationships with clients and colleagues
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to perform essential duties of the position
• Knowledge of laboratory regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in molecular testing
• Strong understanding of molecular biology and genetics

Salary Range:

The annual salary shown is for a full-time position based in Marshfield, WI. This role is bonus eligible and offers company stock options.
