    What We Do

    The purpose of the Claims Evaluations Department is to handle escalated and highly visible claims that could not be handled through the normal claims channel.

    The department handles legal issues as it pertains to claims, and assists in maintaining the company's reputation with our customers, regulatory agencies and consumer protection agencies.

    Based on experience, performance, and need, internal growth within the department is available.


    What You'll Do:
    Investigate, analyze and respond to complaints from the following sources: Consumer Protection Agencies, Regulatory Agencies, letters of intent/demand letters from Attorneys, claims addressed to Upper Management, claims forwarded to the Corporate Offices
    Investigate liability complaints against First American and/or independent contractors dispatched by First American
    Represent the Company in Small Claims Cases

    What You'll Bring
    At least 1-2 years of previous customer service experience
    Bachelors Degree or commensurate work experience
    Excellent communication skills
    Basic mechanical, technical and contract knowledge and understanding
    Exceptional customer service skills
    Possess analytical and investigative skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and ability to navigate through Access
    Fundamental understanding of the home warranty industry
    Ability to keep composure in hostile conversations
    Previous leadership experience desired but not required


    Salary Range:
    $ per hour


    This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.

    Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
