Job Summary:
Provides cleaning service in the facility to meet department quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas to include dusting and sanitizing furniture equipment mirrors and fixtures washing windows walls ceilings vents light fixtures sweeping scrubbing refinishing floors vacuuming shampooing carpet re stocking restrooms replacing light bulbs reporting repairs heavy contact with cleaning chemicals disinfecting agents floor strippers finishes removing waste by collecting transporting soiled linen emptying trash containers changing sharps containers transporting solid hazardous waste compactors recycling material empty cigarette receptacles smoking areas keeps equipment clean orderly reports equipment failures mechanical issues maintenance staff maintains safe working environment quality service complying procedures rules regulations infection control guidelines meeting departmental quality standards attends required in-service education training classes safety update programs maintain technical knowledge consistently demonstrates ability meet time schedules deadlines.
