    Job Title: BAS Integrator

    BAS Integrator is responsible for the integration of multiple facility systems into one platform. This includes documentation and software programming for all types of HVAC and process control systems, as well as building automation system commissioning and training for facility operators.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Integration of multiple facility systems into one platform
    • Documentation and software programming for HVAC and process control systems
    • Building automation system commissioning and training for facility operators
    • Communication with various protocols such as BACnet MSTP, Echelon, Modbus, BACnet IP, and Scada

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Installation & Commissioning Interoperability of systems, or equivalent
    • HVAC Electrical Troubleshooting, or equivalent
    • AX Certified, or equivalent
    • BAS Advanced Applications
    • Experience in IT networks

    Skills and Abilities:

    • BAS Protocols - Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocols
    • Electrical Knowledge - In-depth understanding of Ohms Law and electrical circuits
    • Blueprints - Understanding of basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawings
    • HVAC Systems - Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
    • Hydronic Systems - Understanding of basics of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
    • Air Side Systems - Understanding of basics of variable and constant volume air flows
    • Certifications - Possesses Siemens, Honeywell and/or Trane BAS certifications
    • Variable Frequency Drives - Understanding of concepts of VFDs and ability to perform operational function checks
    • Test and Balance - Understanding of basic concepts of Test and Balance procedures
    • Computer Skills - Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
    • Valves & Actuators - Ability to identify, size and create valve and actuator schedules
    • Building Automation Systems - Ability to download and adjust BAS programs. Perform functional checks of mechanical systems
    • IT Networks - Understanding of basics of IT networks to include networking and configuration of systems
    • Design Software - Working knowledge of AutoCad
    • Control Signals - Understanding of types and capabilities of differing control signals
    • Scope - Understanding and possession of ability to develop scope of work
    • Analytical - Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data
