- High school diploma or equivalent
- Installation & Commissioning Interoperability of systems, or equivalent
- HVAC Electrical Troubleshooting, or equivalent
- AX Certified, or equivalent
- BAS Advanced Applications
- Experience in IT networks
- BAS Protocols - Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocols
- Electrical Knowledge - In-depth understanding of Ohms Law and electrical circuits
- Blueprints - Understanding of basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawings
- HVAC Systems - Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Hydronic Systems - Understanding of basics of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
