Nuvance Health Department of Thoracic Surgery is seeking a board-certified part-time thoracic surgical physician assistant to join its group at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie NY This position is hospital focused with limited office exposure Job Requirements The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience Responsibilities include but are not limited to surgical first assisting daily rounds consults admissions and discharges Will work with vascular surgery as needed Candidates with at least one year of surgical experience preferred Competitive compensation package comprehensive benefits and generous allowances for CME and professional dues/expenses offered Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 365-bed tertiary care hospital that provides the leading acute critical emergency care in the region
