- A basic understanding of how to process shop drawings, RFIs and submittals
- Understanding of Excel, Bluebeam, BIM/Revit, P6 and Procore
- Solid verbal and written communication skills

- Establishing and building relationships with your project team including MATT management, clients/owners, owner's reps, architects and subcontractors
- Managing subcontractor qualifying, procurement, submittals, RFIs, change orders, punch lists and close out
- Learning how to identify scope gaps
- Learning how to manage the quality control needed on a project
- Working collaboratively and proactively with the project superintendent to ensure project safety
- Learning how to execute 3-week look-ahead schedules
- Collaborating with Interns from other schools and majors
- A path to obtain a bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or other applicable field
- Prior internships in Commercial or Residential construction desired
- Experience with fast-paced schedules and effective time-management skills
