    We are hiring teammates during our job fair from the Residence Inn Killeen conference center from May.

    Join our team for this opportunity supporting Army National Guard at Fort Cavazos from 20 May to 21 June 2024.

    We are looking for local talent of people who have formal education or experience in media/sports/news/film production including sound production and recording. If you have ever been "the sound guy" for a large church or for your school, then you are the perfect fit for this position. You will support the V-THP Chief with all audio/visual requirements of I-AARs, working for the MAARC site operator during I-AAR site operations. You will work directly with Military Observer - Trainers and Tactical Analysts to prepare, execute, and produce After Actions Reviews (AAR).

    Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for the daily opening, set-up, functionality, audio/video prep of AAR, and MAARC site close-down
    • Set up and operate the radio, video, audio, and lighting equipment used to enhance After Action Reviews
    • Set up monitors, computers, video connections, and network cables
    • Assemble microphones, mix sound switchboards, coordinate graphics, operate spotlights if required, manage video recordings, and provide technical support
    • Responsible for daily equipment checks and reporting any audio/visual maintenance and sustainment issues
    • Manipulate audio, video, and presentation files

    Requirements:

    • Pass a background check
    • Have a valid Driver's License and be able to commute daily
    • Ability to safely lift equipment weighing more than 50 lbs.
    • Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms

    Education: N/A

    Experience:

    • Experience with military (Preferred)
    • Experience with video editing (Preferred)

    Working Conditions: mobile tents (air conditioned) in field conditions

    Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary

    Work Hours: 8-12 hour shifts, 6-7 days / week, for a total of up to 6 weeks.
