    Description

    Kingstonville is seeking a Jr. Contract Specialist to join our team. This candidate will provide acquisition support including program, and subject matter expertise and shall serve as a liaison between our clients Procurement Office, the program offices, and vendors. The successful candidate will work on-site at our clients Washington DC office and report to Kingstonvilles designated Project Manager.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assists the program office personnel and the BOBs Procurement Office with pre- and post-award procurement functions for a broad range of commercial and non-commercial products and services.

    Work shall be performed in accordance with clients Policy and Procedures.

    • Preparing modifications for all contract actions (e.g., funding, COR changes, exercising options, extension of services, changes within scope, terminations, etc.) and filing the documents in an eFile or physical file as appropriate.
    • Distributing contract documents within the timeframes required by FAR
    • Completing entry of data into the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) within the timeframes required by FAR
    • Obtaining closeout memoranda from the COR, as well as preparing contract closeout modifications that include de-obligation of excess funds and contractor release of claims.
    • Preparing the closeout file for transmission to the Records Center.
    • Tracking and maintaining the log of closeout reports from receipt to completion.
    Requirements
    • 3 5 years of relevant experience supporting contract operations.
    • A working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
    • Must possess strong organizational skills and communication skills.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
    • Proficient in PRISM and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (e.g., Office, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
    • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all acquisition related activities as required.
    • Work shall be performed timely to enable the Procurement Office to perform its activities within the timeframes outlines
