    Dentist Schedule:

    • Part-Time position
    • Up to 16 hours per week

    Dentist Position Summary:

    The Dentist will provide dental services and oversee patient care, clinical examinations, and necessary treatments.

    Dentist Essential Functions:

    • Perform and interpret radiographic exams as needed
    • Provide dental treatments including emergency care, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy
    • Correct significant oral health problems affecting inmates
    • Refer patients for procedures outside the facility's scope of services
    • Report incidents to the site or Regional Medical Director and participate in required training and meetings

    Minimum Requirements for Dentist Position:

    • Maintain a current DEA number
    • Hold a valid state license
    • Fluency in the English language (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
    • Collaborative team player fostering teamwork and camaraderie
    • Capable of making independent decisions when necessary
    • Ability to handle interactions with various individuals tactfully
    • Demonstrate leadership, supervisory skills, and the ability to work well with others
    • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment for all
