Job Description

Focus Software is looking for a Senior Software Architect to join the Cross Domain Solutions team in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate should hold an active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility clearance.

Qualifications:

Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility clearance.
Minimum 5 years of experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Over 8 years of experience in developing system design solutions that meet the system requirements and functional analysis.
Extensive experience in creating derived requirements for Information Assurance Services, Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms, and Security Mechanism Technology.
Proficiency in leading projects from start to finish.
Skilled in developing complex database systems with schema and architectural design.
Familiarity with Cloud methodologies.
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Ensuring trusted relations among external systems and architectures.
Identifying and addressing system security threats and risks across the project life cycle.
Contributing to security planning, risk analysis, certification, and awareness activities.
Reviewing certification and accreditation documentation for compliance.
Performing system maintenance, account maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of IA and CND systems.
Applying system security engineering expertise in various areas such as system security design, information domain, risk management, intrusion detection, incident handling, and security testing.
