Job DescriptionManage inspection process to ensure all merchandise conforms to David Yurman quality requirements for all product types. Participate in creation of tools to aid in the inspection process for all manufacturers and inspection teams. Manage and coach inspection and polishing team for Distribution Center. Work with staff daily to monitor consistency of inspection results and department productivity.
Manage the Quality Data Coordinator with communication to all Vendors; Analyze data for the Sample / DTV plans.
Manage statistical and other periodic audits of components and finished goods vault stock as required. Manage selection of items for assay and stone break-out testing programs for all suppliers - components and finished product.
Manage Material Review Board to ensure optimal disposition of non-conforming merchandise.

Manage day to day operations of QC Polishing Shop to ensure effective prioritization of work and maximizing both quality and productivity.

Manage Returns Inspection to ensure effective prioritization of work and ensuring productive and accurate output.
