Assembler - Windham, United States - Rock Coast Personnel

Description

A manufacturer in Windham is seeking a skilled Assembler to put together a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic products of varying complexity. A solid mechanical background along with the ability to read technical drawings and understand specifications is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per routings, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Basic mechanical skills
• Attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Troubleshoot assembly challenges
• Work closely with department lead to offer suggestions, and seek advice as needed
• Work closely with our technicians and engineers to learn how to build our equipment
• Work safely at all times
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Comfortable with hand tools and light power tools
• Willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• General computer skills required

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• Strong ability to comprehend Engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) and work instructions.
• Experience in equipment assembly preferred.
• Strong basic mechanical skills

Starting pay is $28 per hour for this Temp-to-Hire position, which includes a solid benefit package upon being hired on.
