    About Us: 10 Roads Express is looking for a Diesel Mechanic A to join our team in Anchorage, AK. We are a company dedicated to providing time-definite delivery services, making investments in technology and equipment to ensure safe and efficient transportation for our customers.


    Starting Pay: $45.00 per hour (overtime eligible)


    Position Overview:
    • The Diesel Mechanic A will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing wiring, emissions, and engine issues in our late model diesel trucks.


    Flexible Shift Schedules: 2 Options to choose from
    • Sunday - Thursday | 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. OR 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    • Monday - Friday | 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. OR 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

    Benefits:

    Responsibilities:
    • Engine, emissions, and wiring diagnostics on late model tractors.
    • Injectors, gear jobs, cam shafts, etc.
    • Training and guiding less experienced technicians.
    • Perform A, B, C services, or DOT inspections as needed.
    • Complete required paperwork and enter data into maintenance databases.
    • Perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Qualifications: 2+ years' working experience on heavy-duty tractors and trailers.
    • Drivers License required | Class A CDL preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of Diesel engines, ABS, emissions, wiring, air brakes, exhaust, electrical, tires, etc.
    • Proficient in basic computer skills.
    • Adequate tools to perform tasks required.
    • Physical requirements of the position (lifting 100+ lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.).
    • Pre-employment background check test.
    • Read, write, and understand verbal instructions in English.
    • High School Diploma/GED, Trade, or Vocational Training preferred.
