    Family Law Associate Attorney

    FLICKER KERIN, LLP has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Family Law Attorney in our Menlo Park or San Ramon office. Our dedication to your success is reflected in a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with family law experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both your professional and personal well-being, including:

    • Flexible work environment: Attorneys primarily work remotely, with one in-office day per week (preferably two), and additional in-person time as needed for client meetings, deadlines, mentoring, and staff management

    To thrive as a Family Law Associate Attorney, you should have:

    • Active license to practice law in California with 1–7 years of family law experience
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Xspouse, Clio, Clio Draft (formerly Lawyaw), and Lawgic is a plus
    • Excellent legal research skills, with comfort using a variety of research tools, including Westlaw, Attorney's Briefcase, online resources, and traditional reference materials
    • Superior legal writing skills, with the ability to draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents with clarity and precision

    Your responsibilities as the Family Law Associate Attorney will include:

    • Manage a diverse family law caseload, receiving assignments from multiple principals and partners and independently prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
    • Prepare for and appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings on behalf of clients
    • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail
    • Collaborate effectively with paralegals, law clerks, fellow attorneys, and administrative staff while maintaining the ability to work independently
    • Communicate clearly, professionally, and discreetly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, consultants, and court personnel
    • Provide thoughtful legal analysis and strategic guidance throughout all stages of family law matters
