JOB SUMMARY
The Journeyman Plumber position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs from general to complex plumbing components. Responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, completing work orders, maintaining, and diagnosing all plumbing mechanisms within the hangars and terminal buildings. This individual will perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs while ensuring standards with applicable laws, plumbing codes and regulations are met. In addition, the individual will perform other necessary repairs, maintenance, restoration, and placement of various components of the physical structure of buildings and shop equipment as needed.

Location: Boston Logan International Airport
Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm (Tuesday - Saturday)

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plumbing, troubleshooting and installation.
Perform minor to complex service work on plumbing systems.
Maintain shop equipment in working order by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
Follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
Keep workspace neat, clean, and free of clutter.
Understand and comply with OSHA, Safety and PPE requirements.
All other work-related duties as assigned.
Work flexible hours as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/LEVEL OF SUPERVISION
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Receives specific direction as to goals and the achievement of those goals. Evaluated based on the successful performance of essential job duties and responsibilities and achievement of goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION

HS Diploma
Journeyman Plumber
Experience fitting industrial piping systems with materials such as, PVC, copper, stainless steel instrument tubing is a plus
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills

WORKING CONDITIONS, TRAVEL, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed to address the needs of the customer. Pass a Keystone Management background screening
Pass a Federal Aviation Administration background check

Pass a driving history check
Possess a current driving license
