    Senior Manager, Technology Product Management within our Data & Insights Product Group

    supporting JJIM Commercial Pharma business.

    This position's primary location will be in Titusville, New Jersey and may require occasional travel within the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area.

    The Senior Manager, Technology Product Management


    position will have specific responsibilities as an IT Product Line manager with good technical skills, delivering high impact analytic products and solutions that address the evolving needs of the Business.

    The IT Senior manager will collaborate with IT peers, business product owners, strategic customer group, Finance, vendors, architecture & Data science teams.

    The Key area of focus is defining vision, strategy, roadmap and lead the design and development of advanced analytics solutions to support critical functions like contracting, Payer provider analytics, and Janssen learn analytics.


    Key responsibilities:
    Product Management


    As a Technical Product owner, define and communicate to key partners the product vision and strategy including new features and improvements for products in Data & Insights product group.

    Identify and prioritize product features backlog in alignment with business strategy.
    Define business value, measurement of return on investment, and realization of business outcomes. They will own and manage total cost of ownership, including spend on vendors and services throughout product life cycle.

    Drive technology strategies, and product roadmaps in alignment with our Technology strategy in close partnership with business and other stakeholders.

    Enable future-state business capabilities with a focus on technology disruption, speed, agility, and flexibility.
    Drive and measure adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction of Data Analytics products.
    Coach business and technical product owners on product management standard methodologies to ensure consistency across the product.
    Partner across other products, product groups to define and deliver innovative solutions, ensuring coordinated and cohesive strategies.
    Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements that can influence product strategy, roadmap, and innovation.


    Define the standards for the product, including overall design and features, development standards, release management processes and schedules, testing / validation, and compliance in partnership with business and vendors.

    Partner with business to shape & co-create product roadmap for current and future needs.
    Focus on business agility, Agile product delivery with a fail-fast approach and measurable outcomes.
    Drive product health, technical quality, development, and support services through consistent metrics reporting.

    Perform source data analysis, data discovery, collaborate with business and peer teams to synthesize the business requirements - to define and translate business needs into user stories, prioritize product backlog, and define sprint plans.

    Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
    Lead lifecycle of products and complete upgrade/decommission strategy as appropriate.
    Lead data governance and access polices based on specific data needs.
    Drive continual measurement of capabilities against demand volume, complexity, business challenges and improvement within value stream(s).

    Qualifications


    Required:
    A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent field of study
    A minimum of 8 to 10 years of technology development (platforms or products)

    A minimum of 5 years proven experience leading mid-large product teams, delivering results, demonstrating leadership, influencing skills, and interdependent partnering skills.

    Strong data management expertise, data modeling skills and proven experience in managing large data platform in direct support of business functions is required.

    Experience in data science, AI capabilities and how to apply for business transformation.
    Experience in leading high performing data and analytics teams.

    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and strategically with internal partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes.

    Effective communication, critical thinking skills, creative and flexible problem solving, and process focus.
    Agile development experience, SDLC methodology, risk management including information security. Solid understanding of JIRA.

    Ability to influence & negotiate:

    Understand business value and solution needed to increase IT impact while managing competing partner priorities and ambiguity is required.

    Demonstrable experience crafting technical solutions for business problems; understands both business processes and technical solutions.
    Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, critical situations with attention to detail.

    In-depth knowledge and experience delivering solutions to support diverse business units and experience in healthcare payer provider analytics, contracting, and learning analytics.

    Experience with AWS cloud stack and services such as (Redshift, EKS, Sage Maker), Python, PySpark, NLP conversational platforms, Tableau, Power BI and other BI toolsets.

    This position's primary location will be in Titusville NJ, with up to 10% travel in NJ/PA.
    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118K - $177K

    Preferred:
    Master's degree in technology preferred.
    A broad experience of Commercial Pharma Sales & Marketing processes and best-practices
    Experience with CI/CD and DevOps is preferred.
    Adept in Commercial Pharm data sets.
